International Rover 75–MG ZT Meeting Ascension weekend May 06 – 09, 2027 in Maurach am Achensee Tyrol/Austria

On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, we warmly invite all members and users to visit our beautiful Tyrol once again.
Due to the consistently positive feedback about the hotel in 2017, we have once again chosen the Naturhotel Alpenblick in Maurach am Achensee as our accommodation.

Programme

Thursday (06.05.2027)

Arrival at the hotel from 15:00 onwards.
18:00: Joint dinner, followed by the general meeting and an open-ended evening.

Friday (07.05.2027)
After breakfast (departing no later than 09:10), we will drive to Kufstein and first visit Kufstein Fortress.
Kufstein Fortress
There are several multi-storey car parks in the city, all located close to the town centre.

We recommend the following car parks:

Parkgarage Kufstein Galerien, Feldgasse 1, 6330 Kufstein
Altstadt Tiefgarage, Fischergries 10, 6330 Kufstein

10:30: Guided tour of the impressive fortress complex.
Duration: 75–90 minutes.

Information from the guide:
MEETING POINT: Schlossrondell (Panoramabahn mountain station)
For the ascent of all guests, approximately 20–25 minutes should be allowed. It takes about 5 minutes on foot to reach the mountain station of the Panoramabahn, should some guests wish to take the very scenic route via the stairs, drawbridge, castle gate, etc.

The guided tour ends in time before the daily 12:00 concert of the Heldenorgel, which is well worth hearing. The concert lasts approximately 15 minutes and can be heard throughout the city centre of Kufstein as well as at the fortress.



12:30: Lunch at Gasthof “Goldener Löwe”, Oberer Stadtplatz 14, Kufstein.
(Only a short walk from the fortress.)
Card payments are accepted, but cash payment is preferred!

15:00: Visit to the Riedel Glass Manufactory.

Riedel Glass Manufactory – Museum

After our arrival, we will meet at the glass pyramid in the courtyard, where our guided tour will begin.
Although the glassmakers’ workshops will unfortunately not be in operation on this Friday, we will have the opportunity to visit the museum and gain an interesting insight into the impressive history of the company throughout the centuries.
We plan approximately 1 to 1½ hours for the visit, including the opportunity to shop.



18:00–19:30: Joint dinner, followed by an open-ended evening.


Saturday (08.05.2027)
We will leave the hotel no later than 09:30 and drive to Innsbruck.

There are two multi-storey car parks in the immediate vicinity:
Parkhaus Innsbruck Nordkettenbahn, Rennweg 6, 6020 Innsbruck
Innenstadt Garage, Kaiserjägerstraße 1, 6020 Innsbruck

10:30: Guided tour of the historic old town of Innsbruck.
Duration: 90 minutes.

Afterwards, we will have free time until 14:00.



14:00: Visit to the Court Church (Hofkirche) and the Imperial Apartments of the Hofburg – two of the city’s best-known highlights.
The guided tour will also last 90 minutes.



Dinner again at 18:00.


Sunday (09.05.2027)
After a relaxed breakfast together, we will bring the meeting to a close in a relaxed atmosphere and say goodbye to each other.


Programme costs

The cost of the programme is approximately €60 per person.
